Our Convention Programme offers the participants a full Presentation of the Host Country.

We start with the Welcoming Introduction on Monday (Plenary session) and continue in the afternoon with a focus on the Medieval past of Tallinn.

A presentation indoors will be followed by a walking tour around the Old Town (UNESCO world heritage site) and end with a medieval dinner in Olde Hansa restaurant.

On Tuesday the focus will be on national heritage, folk art and music, and our Ethnographic and Song Festival traditions (both listed as UNESCO world cultural heritage).

A presentation indoors will be followed by a bus tour including a visit to the Song Festival Grounds and KUMU art museum, where the participants will see the art exhibition and will then also be shown a film about the power of song and its importance in helping Estonia gain independence.

The Wednesday evening event is dedicated to contemporary culture and entertainment in Tallinn, the European Capital of Culture in 2011.

Thursday’s Gala dinner will be held at the Estonia Concert Hall, a proud flagship of our culture.

In addition to above several tours will take place during the convention week.

Participants will also get Tallinn Cards which provide free entrance to all Tallinn Museums. Local guides at the Convention Hospitality Desk will help the guests to decide how and where to learn more about what they are most interested in during the free time of the convention.
