Visa

Visa application process

Please note! Since visa application process can be time consuming we strongly recommend to begin the process as early as possible.

Step 1: Make sure if you need a visa or not. Please see below the list of countries whose citizens can travel to Estonia without a visa. For visa requirements by country please look here.

Step 2: In case you need a visa, please find the nearest Estonian representation that issues visas. There might not be one in your country, so please keep in mind that in order to receive a visa you might have to travel to another country. For Estonian Embassies and Representations around the world please look here.

Step 3: Contact the nearest visa issuing authority in order to find out the specific requirements that need to be filled. For example, you might need an official statement from the conference organisers that you are a conference participant.
Please note! No official statement of participation will be issued before all your registration fees are paid.

Step 4: Gather the necessary documentation and begin the visa application process.

NB! If you need an invitation letter for Russian visa to take part of the pre and post tours to St. Petersburg, please send a written request to the Organising Secretariat (conference@frens.ee) with the following information. Please note that you need to register for the tour using the online registration form and pay according to the invoice sent to you before you can apply for visa invitation letter.
